Come learn all about the GAPS diet, how it can help your family’s health, and how to prepare to start.Here is some information to get you started:The GAPS (Gut And Psychology Syndrome) diet establishes the connection between the state of a person’s gut and the functioning of the brain, and therefore helps to treat both GI and mental health symptoms. It was developed by Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride and has been used clinically to help treat disorders such as autism spectrum disorders, schizophrenia, depression, dyslexia/dyspraxia, chronic allergies, eczema, multiple food sensitivities, diarrhea, and constipation.

Come learn how fermented foods support health and how easy it is to make your own.
There will be several samples of fermented foods and beverages for you to try. Leave with the recipes for all of them!
This group will be led by Dr. Hatha Gbedawo, a naturopathic physician, Dr. Lisa Yang, resident naturopath, along with Adriane Angarano, certified nutritionist and culinary educator. Dr. Gbedawo has a decade of experience helping families increase health and wellbeing and is the owner of Vital Kids Medicine. Adriane specializes in functional and holistic nutrition and is passionate about making wholesome dietary changes accessible to families. Dr. Yang has joined the practice and works with the parents and adult population of our families.
